Estland Design Studio represents a natural evolution of the Estland brand—a name many will know from the much-loved retail shop, Estland & Co. For the past six years, Estland & Co was a destination for curated homewares, art, and design objects, celebrated for its refined aesthetic and creative flair. Known for its popularity and distinctive style, the shop built a loyal following and became a local design icon before ceasing trade in early 2025.

Now, Estland returns to its roots in design—with a broader, more holistic creative vision. The studio brings together Hayley’s professional expertise in landscape architecture, her passion for interior design, and her artistic background to deliver projects that are both grounded and inspiring. PEOPLE

Studio Manager and Design Lead, Hayley Freestun has been practicing Landscape Architecture and Urban Design for 18 years across Queensland and New South Wales, working in both the private and public sectors. She is a Registered Member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and actively contributes to the profession.

Hayley brings extensive knowledge and expertise across all stages of design and construction, with project experience spanning residential, commercial, public realm, education and institutional settings, infrastructure, strategic planning, place-making, landscape policy development, visual character analysis, and master planning.
