“A BRISBANE BASED CREATIVE STUDIO WITH A HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL, OUT OF THE BOX CREATIVE THINKING & HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION OUTPUTS.”
WELCOME To THE ESTLAND GROUP
Something I’ve come to understand about myself is this:
“I create quality spaces through different applications, practices, and processes.”
I’ve spent the past 18 years practicing as a Landscape Architect and Designer, working across a wide range of sectors in both private and public realms. But along the way, my creative path expanded—because for me, design has never been about sticking to just one lane.
The Backstory
Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to the design and delivery of residential towers, hospitals, aged care centres, transport networks, parks, main streets, and entire communities. My work has always centred around people—how they move, feel, and experience the spaces they live and gather in. From macro-scale planning to the finest design details, it’s always about creating meaningful, functional places.
A Creative Detour
In 2019, I opened a small retail stall at Vend in Virginia—initially just a side project to explore my love for styling, art, and collecting beautiful, useful things. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more.
The Estland & Co. Chapter
That tiny stall evolved into Estland & Co., a boutique homewares and lifestyle store that became a well-loved destination for those seeking curated interiors, vintage treasures, and a considered design aesthetic. Between 2019 and 2025, the shop offered me a new way to channel creativity and connect with people who valued good design on a personal scale.
While Estland & Co. closed its doors in 2025, the experience was deeply fulfilling. It fed my passion for interior design, styling, and visual storytelling—elements I continue to weave into my design practice today.
Not a Side Hustle—A Dual Path
All along, I never stopped being a designer. Instead, I embraced a dual path. Rather than choosing between a traditional design career and the retail world, I allowed them to exist side by side—each one enriching the other.
Neither was a side hustle. They coexisted intentionally, shaped around my skills, lifestyle, and family commitments. That flexibility has allowed me to stay engaged, evolve, and create work that feels both personal and professional.
The Studio
Estland Design Studio is the next evolution of that journey. It draws on nearly two decades of experience in landscape architecture, and it’s fuelled by my ongoing passion for interiors, placemaking, and creative expression.
This studio is where strategic thinking meets intuitive design.
Where art, architecture, and atmosphere intersect.
Where the process is just as important as the outcome.
Because why limit yourself to one form of expression, when you can embrace them all?
